She's home!

Sonya arrived back from Beadwork magazine this morning, with a nice crisp copy of the magazine to compliment my now tattered specimen, a lovely note from Melinda.........oh alright................and a cheque! The fun thing had been tracking her trip from Colorado via Indiana and London to Leeds, and finally on the van to Wakefield - it's nice to know your work travels more than you do!
Lots of laminating done, and Sonya herself was whisked away to Nina's jewellery stash to be lovingly cared for until I put her into Stitchncraft Beads Gallery next February!
Making another spiral necklace for 'Tanya' now, the last one is a bit of a tight fit for the bail, I'm using DB353 delicas, which are bloody awful to work with..........sorry.........'challenging'. They have no glaze and it's like beading with tiny bits of bone, this is why it's interesting folks - if it was easy everyone would be doing it!
Haven't had a funny photo for a while have we?........................
