Thank You!

I am what is commonly termed in the UK as 'A Miserable Old Sod'. That is not to say I can't be nice, but it does throw some light on my general view of the Human Race. I neither like nor trust it - in general. I do, however, know when I see beauty, and although 'in real life' I have the social engagements of a Giant Panda I do have some very beautiful friends in the ether we know as the internet. I am able to accept the concept of becoming close friends with people on the other side of the world as well as people close by as the new normality, and embrace it. I am not a sad fat lonely man in desperate need of company, I have a life, but does having nice wallpaper stop us going to the art gallery? The internet, social networking sites, blogs, etc., are like new cities - learn to avoid the bad areas and find the parks and galleries then it all becomes a thing of wonder. Thank you to all of you who have helped me to see the beauty!

I shall now go back to being a miserable sod.

  2. You can't be that bad of a miserable old sod 'cause you create lovely jewelry, and to be a truly miserable old sod you couldn't do that you know..... ;-)
Hows that for brilliant wisdom? LOL
